		<description>My dear Uncle Steve lived in Toronto for a few decades and owned a publishing company.  I believe he first headed north to escape the American biases against gays.

I remember Toronto fondly.  You could smoke in the movie theaters (balcony only) and the subway was CLEAN.  If you smoked on the streets, some guy would follow you and scoop ip the butt.

The food was also amazing.  A very French sub-culture (although not Quebec).  The womens&#039; tendancy to not shave their underarms put me off a bit, as did the &quot;moustaches&quot; on bikini clad women on the beach in the summer.

Then again, it IS rather chilly up there, lol.</description>
